HireInfluence was contracted to improve overall awareness of Southwest Airlines international flight abilities, highlighting the expansion to 12 international destinations.
The overall goal was to encourage audiences to choose Southwest as the airline for their next international vacation.
12 elite influencers were sourced for the agenda, each would travel to a surprise destination & document their journey along the way on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & Blogs.
Each would experience 5-star accommodations, transfers, interactive adventures & spending allowances during the stay. The campaign began with a live-streaming reveal event, that showed reactions as each influencer unwrapped a “top secret” swag package to learn where they would be traveling to.
A giveaway element was incorporated to maximize audience engagement. Each influencer was provided a Southwest-branded “prop” to include in 1 of their many required UGC posts, prompting a “scavenger hunt” of sorts for those who followed. On arrival & departure days, influencers shared their top travel hacks/tips to round out 3 full weeks of exposure & massive audience engagement.
