HI: I see you as one of the Top Digital Creators in the space: from growing your own social platforms to well over 200k and now helping others master social media, you are truly making a mark in the digital world.

I’d love to know more about your new venture, Soulcial Media: The Course. I see you recently launched the course, with several course packages to choose from. What inspired this next step?

Oh my gosh, you are so kind!  I’ve really, really enjoyed my personal development concurrent to the evolution of social media. My husband jokingly refers to this industry as the Wild West. It changes almost daily, but there are many skills that we can develop within the space to ebb and flow and roll successfully with the punches. Education is something I’m super passionate about, so to be able to share my journey with others and then hopefully help them reach the same if not greater heights than I have is one of my missions in the digital world!

The Soulcial Media was launched in 2019 as our first-course offering and I’m beyond proud of what we accomplished. We set out to create a course to not only teach others how to monetize their social media, but also how to navigate the ever-changing landscape of social media while championing their self-wellness and individual beliefs. Even after almost two years, I wouldn’t change a thing about our core class – all the information remains evergreen and we are excited to continue building our course offerings upon that foundation!

HI: As an avid follower and supporter, I couldn’t help but notice and appreciate the consistent inspiration, tips, tricks, and overall positive outlook you’ve had during this current global pandemic. For me personally, it has helped a ton!

I’d love to know more about the steps you’ve been taking to not only inspire but transition/ shift your content during this time?

I’ll be honest, being pregnant during lockdown helped a lot. Caring for my body and my child became my biggest priority, so maintaining a positive mindset was absolutely necessary. With limited contact with anyone from the outside world – and styled, in-person shoots basically impossible – I actually found it therapeutic to transition my content toward a more day-to-day glimpse of what my life is like now that I’m preparing to become a mother. This also took some pressure off as I tend to put a lot of energy into my shoots! I know 2020 will be looked upon as one of the most challenging years in our time, but I hope to look back on it as the year that helped me overcome a lot of my personal and professional hangups.

HI: With our current state of events, what types of brands do you find yourself aligning with as of late? Please tell us more about these brand alignments and how you specifically find alignment within brand deals.

Of course, there are plenty of fantastic baby brands we’ve been aligning with in preparation for Baby Goode’s arrival – but our standards for who we work with haven’t changed. We will continue to work with brands whose brand values are aligned with our own – those being values of inclusivity, transparency, and integrity with regard to best practices, production, and ingredients.

On that, it’s important to make sure we’re always telling the right story and supporting the narrative that serves as the through-line for Officially Quigley. We are very lucky to work with brands who understand and mirror our commitment to integrity because ultimately it’s that mutual respect that makes for a successful partnership.

HI: What tips, tricks, and/or advice can you give fellow creators in the space that have helped you the most to stay grounded during this global pandemic?

It’s so easy to fall into the comparison game or to think you should be further along than you are. If there’s one thing I can tell you with certainty, it’s that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. As long as you make the effort to get better every single day, then trust in the universe to bring you to where you want to be. Stay true to you and do what feels right!

HI: Tell us some of your predictions for the ‘Digital Creator’ space: What changes do you see happening in the industry within the next couple of years?

My husband likes to remind his clients that no one thought the internet would become what it is today when it launched in 1983. The same can be said about social media and influencer marketing –  it’s not going anywhere and it’s only upward from here! In fact, brands are forecasted to spend up to $15 billion on influencer marketing by 2022. I think we’ll see a lot more creators entering the space, which is fantastic because competition breeds innovation! Who would have thought only 10 years ago that I could build a brand, make a living, and run a business all centered around a social media platform? I’m so excited to see what the future holds for this business and I only hope that I can continue to be a source of education for the next generation of creators!

HI: Final question: Lastly, for aspiring influencers & digital creators (or those on the rise), what are some tips for success & advice you can give them?

Oh, that’s a fun question! Work hard, stay curious, and learn all you can from each other. Be kind, be grateful, and remember – your job as a creator is to give. Your job is to serve your audience. Give and give and give until you think you have nothing left to give, and then give some more. I truly believe that you get what you give. This is how you will grow, how you will get stronger, and how you will achieve whatever it is you set your heart to.
